A woman is injured and a man dies in a domestic dispute

LEBANON, Indiana – Lebanon Police are conducting a death investigation after a disturbance in the 300 block of West Main Street left one person dead and one injured.

According to LPD, officers were called to the area around 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man and a woman inside the apartment, both with injuries. While the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

LPD said the names of both individuals are being withheld until more information is available and the deceased’s family has been notified. They also believe this is an isolated incident and there is no current threat to the public.
