TPSO seeks suspects in shoplifting investigation | News

AMITE — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs assistance in identifying and locating two suspects accused of stealing washing machines from a store.

On Monday, June 17, the owner of Cutrer’s Appliance & Furniture on Highway 16 East reported that two men were caught on surveillance video pulling up behind the store in a black SUV with a trailer around 3 a.m. The two were then seen loading up several junk washing machines as well as a Maytag 565 washer that was being repaired.

All of the equipment was located outside the store and has a total value of approximately $500.

Sheriff Gerald Sticker is urging anyone with information regarding this theft, those responsible, or the whereabouts of the devices to contact the Crime Stoppers Bureau at 985-748-3335.
