Man arrested in connection with fatal stabbing in Marysville

According to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, a man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing reported this morning. The sheriff’s office said officers responded to a physical altercation in the 1100 block of North Beale Road at around 12:05 a.m. (Click the video player above to see more morning headlines from KCRA 3.) When officers arrived on the scene, they found a stabbing victim. Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel at Adventist Rideout Hospital, the victim later died. Detectives were called to the scene to begin a homicide investigation. After reviewing surveillance footage, detectives identified the suspect as 27-year-old Michael Collier of Linda. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a stabbing victim. Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel at Adventist Rideout Hospital, the victim later died.
