Man killed in overnight shooting in Norfolk – The Virginian-Pilot

A man is dead after a shooting in Norfolk last night, police report.

Norfolk police responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Core Avenue, near Gates Avenue, around 1:20 a.m. Saturday morning. A man was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect is in custody.

Norfolk Police continue to investigate the matter.
