What started as a missing person investigation in Dodge County has now become a death investigation.

A statement from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says they have been looking for 37-year-old Crystal Rasch of rural Clyman, Wisconsin, since June 27.th.

Since beginning their investigation, they have examined Rasch’s finances and discovered that numerous transactions have taken place through her accounts.

A criminal complaint was filed accusing her estranged husband, 42-year-old Zachariah Rasch, of being responsible for these transactions.

He was arrested and charged with seven counts of identity theft for the purpose of obtaining money.

He has since been given a $250,000 bail and is still in the Dodge County Jail.

Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says no information about the death investigation will be released because the investigation is still very active.

Crystal has not yet been found, but the search by Dodge County and numerous other sheriff’s offices is ongoing.
