Honda off-road motorcycles recalled; handles may come loose – WPXI

Honda has recalled 40,700 off-road motorcycles that need to be repaired.

The bike’s handle could come loose from the handlebars and cause a fall, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported.

The recall affects motorcycles built between 2023 and 2024 with the following model numbers:

  • CRF50F (red or white)
  • CRF110F (red or white)
  • CRF125F (red)

All have “HONDA” printed on the seat and the model on the frame above the engine. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is located on the left side of the steering head.

They were sold from September 2022 to May 2024 for $1,700 to $3,900.

To determine if your motorcycle is affected by the recall, you can enter the vehicle identification number on Honda’s website. If the motorcycle is on the list, you should stop using it and contact the company for a free inspection and repair, the CPSC said.
