Cambridge woman arrested for stabbing

CAMBRIDGE, Maryland – A Cambridge woman is behind bars following a stabbing last week.

In the early morning hours of June 22, officers were called to the 900 block of Maces Lane. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 34-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim reportedly lost consciousness while waiting for emergency services and was taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.

Officers determined that the original incident had occurred in the 400 block of Cedar Street and made contact with 36-year-old Catora Burral, who was identified as the suspect in the stabbing. Burral was subsequently arrested and, according to police, confessed to stabbing the victim. She was charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and dangerous weapon with intent to injure and was held without bail.
