One person arrested after police chase in Willmar | News

(Willmar MN-) One person was arrested Friday after a brief chase in Kandiyohi County. The police department said the pursuit began at 1:29 p.m. when they attempted to stop a vehicle for several traffic violations on Highway 71/23 at 37th Avenue Northeast, north of Willmar. The vehicle appeared to stop, then rejoined traffic and continued south at highway speeds for about a mile before finally stopping at the Highway 71-Highway 12 exit. The driver was arrested for fleeing police in a motor vehicle, driving without insurance, driving while license suspended and other violations.
