Fairfield Public Golf Course issues statement on incident

Late Tuesday morning, Fairfield Public Golf Course officials posted a statement on their Facebook page about an incident involving one or more people. Their message is that anyone who continues to urinate on the greens will be banned from the course if caught. Officials say the greens now have “dead spots” from the urine and maintenance staff are working hard to repair the damage. It could potentially take two weeks to a month to fully repair everything. A reminder from golf course officials: Remember there is a restroom in the clubhouse and on the No. 5 green.
