TONIGHT:

It will be very hot and humid this afternoon. Humidity will drop, but only slightly for some of you this afternoon. For most, however, it will be another very hot and humid day. The high in Nashville will be 95°.

Tonight temperatures will fall again to 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.

Middle Tennessee is likely to experience very hot and humid weather with two waves of storms later this year.

MORNING:

Tomorrow is the “First Alert Weather Day” with the expectation of very hot weatherTemperatures will rise above 35 degrees again in the afternoon. The perceived temperature will be around 38 degrees, with the most uncomfortable weather over West Tennessee and western Middle Tennessee.

Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible tomorrow night; they will move from the northwest, but will decrease in intensity as the weather progresses.

WEDNESDAY:

Due to the risk of some strong to severe thunderstorms, the so-called “First Alert Weather Day” was issued for Wednesday. The danger level is low (level 1 on a scale of 1 to 5), but some destructive wind gusts are still possible.

Thunderstorms are possible at any time on Wednesday, but the greatest chance for some strong storms will be in the afternoon and early evening.

THURSDAY:

Thursday looks set to be the most pleasant of the next seven days. Humidity will drop slightly. Temperatures will actually be seasonal for a change, with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

FRIDAY TO THIS WEEKEND:

Very hot weather is expected again from Friday, which will last until the weekend. All three of these days will be First Alert Weather Days.. Temperatures will rise above 95 degrees in Nashville. The heat index will exceed 100 degrees for many. Remember to stay alert in the dangerous heat and high humidity. Continue to take all the heat precautions you have taken to this point to protect yourself and your family members.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are likely again on Sunday afternoon and evening as a weak cold front approaches from the north.
