Russia: Motorcycle attacks with the “Mad Max” bomb helped capture Ukrainian strongholds

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that off-road motorcycles helped capture Ukrainian positions on the Eastern Front, where a number of towns and villages have recently fallen.

According to a Russian officer, five Russian soldiers managed to capture a base near the town of Vuhledar with the help of the vehicles.

“Because we did everything suddenly, they were surprised and we were able to capture two of them immediately while the rest ran away,” he claimed.

Russia’s use of motorcycles on the battlefield has recently drawn ridicule and comparisons to the Mad Max films, as some of them have been fitted with improvised metal cages to defend against drone attacks.

Ukraine has achieved numerous successes in the fight against Moscow’s motorcycle infantry.

In one case in May, the 79th Air Assault Brigade said it had destroyed eight motorcycles in a single battle.
