Pedestrian hit and killed in Norwalk: Police say

According to Norwalk police, a woman died Friday morning after being hit by a car.

NORWALK, Connecticut – Police say a pedestrian was killed in a car crash in Norwalk Friday morning.

On June 21, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Norwalk dispatch received a call about a car accident at 81 Riverside Avenue. Police, firefighters, and Norwalk Hospital EMS were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Kathleen Quigley-Cutting, 59, received medical attention from Norwalk patrol officers and firefighters when they arrived at the scene. Quigley-Cutting was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where she died of her injuries, police said.

This accident remains under investigation by Norwalk Police Department forensics and accident reconstruction investigators.
