Ric Flair comments on the restaurant incident and says he should have left before he got mad

It’s only Wednesday, but the story of Ric Flair and his not-so-great adventure at a Piesanos Stove Oven Pizza restaurant in Gainesville, Florida continues to make headlines. The story first came to light on Monday when Flair complained on social media that the establishment had thrown him out. Accusations from a neighboring Piesanos manager that Flair was “drunk and disorderly” followed, and on Tuesday video footage was released showing Flair angrily confronting Piesanos employees.

The story continued to develop on Wednesday when Flair gave his report to the Gainesville Sun and even suggested he might take legal action against Piesanos. However, Flair’s tone was slightly softer later on Wednesday when contacted by The MJ Morning Show for his account of the situation. Flair provided additional details he hadn’t previously mentioned, claiming his stepdaughter left the establishment out of “fear” because the Piesanons staff seemed so strong. He confirmed again that an argument with a kitchen worker escalated his behavior.

“If I’m put in an area where I feel uncomfortable, I get angry,” Flair said. “It surprised me because we had a wonderful time.”

Still, Flair admitted that he should have left the restaurant before he lost his temper. Flair also noted that even after everything that happened, he would order food from Piesanos later that evening, which he said was delivered to him by Uber Eats around 6 p.m. In a stark contrast to his tone earlier in the day, Flair praised the restaurant, noting that they have “amazing food.”
