Zepto customer discovers “dead mouse” in Hershey’s chocolate syrup, internet users say: “New fear sparked”

There are advantages and disadvantages to ordering groceries or food online. You can get the food you want delivered to your doorstep within minutes, but at the same time you can also find a dead lizard or mouse in it.

A similar incident occurred with a Zepto customer – Prami Sridhar – who allegedly found a dead mouse in a bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup that she had ordered through Zepto.

She immediately recorded a video of it and posted it on social media, which sparked a response from the candy company.

On Instagram, Prami wrote: “Shocking 😮 discovery in my Zepto-Oder!! This is a friendly request to everyone to open your 👀 eyes…”

She added: “We ordered Hershey’s Zepto chocolate syrup to eat with the brownie cakes. We started pouring it over the cakes. Little hairs kept getting caught. Then we decided to open it. The opening was sealed and intact. We opened it and poured it into a disposable glass. A thick and hard consistency like a death rat dripped out. Washing it under running water made it look like that again. It’s a death rat 😖…”

“We tried to file a complaint but there was no response. Three members tried the syrup, two girls were symptom free. One girl fainted yesterday and was taken to a nearby hospital. She was again referred to another hospital to receive general medicine. With luck, she is fine now and the examination was completely normal… so guys, please be careful what you eat and order. Please check it when you give it to the children…

“This is extremely worrying and unacceptable. We are concerned about the health risks and the lack of quality control.”

After the video went viral, Hersheys wrote that they were very sorry and shared their customer care details. The company wrote: “Hi, we are very sorry about this. Please send us the bottle UPC and manufacturing code to [email protected] with reference number 11082163 so one of our team members can assist you!”
