Police arrest man in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) — A 23-year-old Wichita man was arrested last week in connection with the death of 27-year-old Quentin Gordon. Gordon was shot the night of June 4 in the 4800 block of E. Funston, near the intersection of Funston and Oliver.

Police said the shooting happened during an argument. They investigated and identified Jeremiah Walker as a possible suspect. Wichita Police Department homicide detectives arrested him.


They presented the case to the district attorney’s office for possible charges. The prosecutor decided to charge Walker with first-degree murder.
