Good Samaritan becomes suspected rapist and attempts suicide in Murang’a

A man who attempted to rape a 22-year-old woman after offering her a ride in his car is currently recovering in a hospital in Murang’a after another failed suicide attempt.

In the incident, which was reported at Kandara Police Station in Murang’a on Wednesday, June 5, the woman was walking home from Kaburigi Trading Centre that evening when the car driver offered her a ride.

According to police, the young woman innocently entered the vehicle and was not aware that she was dancing to the tune of a marauding wolf in sheep’s clothing.

But before she could even warm up properly, the “Good Samaritan” quickly turned into a savage and tried to force organs and organs on her that the beautiful lady did not agree to.

The victim put up fierce resistance and supported him with screams and yells. He managed to unlock the vehicle and jump out – injured but unharmed.

She reported the incident to the police, who, after investigation, identified the suspect as Peter Gitau Kimani.

Meanwhile, Kimani had learned that he had been exposed and that Hawkshaws were hot on his heels.

Fear of life in prison, as well as shame and guilt over his actions, overwhelmed him and he downed a bottle of poison, police said.

But neither Heaven nor Hell were willing to accept him without first dealing with the third planet.

Before he could succumb to unconsciousness, the police arrived at his home and took him to Thika Level Five Hospital, where he was admitted but was in a stable condition.

After his release, Kimani will be charged in a public court, police said.
