Buffalo hospital to create breast health center

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Erie County Medical Center is investing $2 million to create a center focused on breast health and expand its interventional pain program.

ECMC’s Comprehensive Breast Health Center will be created on the first floor of Grider Street Hospital, providing patients with a full continuum of care under one roof.

The renovations will create a mammography room, another for bone density screening with a DEXA machine, a patient waiting room, locker rooms and consultation areas.
