Police: Illinois man missing since 2022 found dead in Chicago | MyStateline

CHICAGO (WTVO) — Oswego police found the body of a Bolingbrook man missing since 2022 on Tuesday.

Edward Gardner, 21, was last seen on March 13, 2022 and was reported missing a day later.

Gardner’s rented white Dodge Charger was found crashed two weeks later in Hammond, Indiana. Police don’t believe Gardner was there, but the people in the Charger fled the scene.

Accordingly WLSThe Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified a body found in Chicago as Gardener’s remains.

Gardner’s death remains an ongoing investigation, according to Oswego police.
