The 57-year-old boxer was taken off the plane as soon as it landed in Los Angeles. “He was in first class, but we were sitting in an emergency exit row and the stewardess was very chatty. They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so the paramedics could board,” claimed the eyewitness, who noted Tyson had taken photos with some fans before the plane took off. “She said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger, so we want to make sure he’s OK.’ I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded in agreement.”

Accordingly The New York PostRepresentatives for Tyson acknowledged the situation but said the boxer is OK. “Fortunately, Mr. Tyson is OK,” representatives said. “Thirty minutes before landing, he began to feel nauseous and dizzy due to a stomach ulcer. He is grateful to the medical staff who assisted him.”
