1 dead after shooting on Steele Street, police say

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (WMC) – Memphis police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

At around 7:52 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting on Steele Street near Frayser Boulevard.

When police arrived, they found that a man had been shot.

His death was pronounced at the scene of the accident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
