HPD: Girl injured after shooting outside Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON — Several people, including a minor girl, were injured Saturday evening after a fight escalated into a shooting outside an apartment complex near the South Loop and South Freeway, police said. Houston.

It happened at a complex on Corder Street around 10:45 p.m.

Police said they received several conflicting reports, but it appears a car pulled into a parking lot and began talking with people outside the apartments when a fight broke out. That fight escalated into a shooting involving several different parties, according to HPD.

A car took a young girl to an area hospital where police said she had some type of abrasion injury. There is no word on his condition.
