Scarborough was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree false imprisonment and second-degree harassment.

The investigation revealed that Scarborough subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact and prevented her from leaving the apartment – all in the presence of a small child.

While in police custody, Scarborough engaged in disruptive behavior, which earned him an additional charge of obstruction of governmental administration. He was taken to Seneca County Central District Court. An order of protection was filed on behalf of the victims.
