Man shot in Garden Grove, no suspect identified

A man was found dead on a sidewalk in Garden Grove on Saturday, police confirmed.

At approximately 4:17 a.m., police were notified of an unconscious person lying on a sidewalk in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue. Upon arrival, Garden Grove Police officers found a man dead from a gunshot wound.

The man’s identity has not yet been released publicly and next of kin have yet to be notified.

According to police, no information about the suspect was available as of Saturday afternoon.
