TRAFFIC ALERT: Car fire blocks Interstate 24 in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Westbound Interstate 24 is backed up after a vehicle fire near Exit 1.

At around 4:50 p.m., the fire at Mile 1.8 caused a traffic jam all the way past Exit 4.

The eastbound lanes were also closed due to an earlier accident, from approximately mile marker 10 to exit 4.
