Man found dead on highway after power outage

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident (MVA) on the 45 North Fwy near Airline around 10:30 p.m. HPD found an adult male dead on the highway.

The victim was reportedly struck by a car that never stopped to render aid. Police said it was particularly dark and the man shouldn’t have been on the highway, but the lights on the highway were off due to the storm.
