The Young Bucks attack AEW star at NJPW Resurgence – TJR Wrestling

The Young Bucks’ reign of terror continues.

At NJPW Resurgence, Eddie Kingston clashed with Gabe Kidd over the NJPW Strong Openweight title in a brutal no-ropes match. Ultimately, it was Kidd who emerged victorious while Kingston lay broken in the ring.

There was speculation that Kingston may have suffered a legitimate knee injury during the competition, but this remains unconfirmed at this time.

However, Kingston’s evening got even worse when Jack Perry strolled down the aisle, although his appearance only proved to be a distraction. While the Mad King focused on Perry, the Young Bucks attacked him from behind. The attack ended with an EVP trigger

The appearance marked the Bucks’ first appearance in NJPW since Wrestle Kingdom in January 2019.

Young Bucks is set for a big match at AEW Double Or Nothing

Days earlier on AEW Dynamite, it was announced that the Young Bucks would be teaming with Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry in an Anarchy In The Arena match. The quartet will face FTR, Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson.

The announcement came after The Elite attacked Tony Khan on April 24, before repeating the trick a week later with a brutal attack on Kenny Omega.
