Rape: Disabled teenager raped by three men; mother dies of shock | Meerut News

Meerut: A physically disabled teenager was allegedly raped by three men in Bahadurgarh area of ​​Hapur district in India’s Uttar Pradesh state, police said on Monday. According to the complaint filed by the survivor’s father, a daily wage labourer, the incident took place on July 17 around 10 pm when the minor girl, who suffers from a physical disability of her left arm, went to fetch water from a hand pump near her house. “Two men took advantage of the darkness, kidnapped my daughter and raped her in turns in a secluded place. They called an accomplice who also raped her. The men let her go only after threatening to kill her if she revealed the crime,” the father stated in his complaint. The survivor came home and told her parents about the ordeal. Ashutosh Shivam, CO (Garh Mukhteshwar) said, “An FIR was filed against three men under BNS sections 70 (1) and 64 (2) and 5/6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Assault (Pocso) Act on Sunday (July 28). A 20-year-old man, a resident of Bahadurgarh, has been arrested and efforts are on to arrest the other two men involved in the crime.” He added, “The survivor and the accused already knew each other as they lived in the same area. Her family claims that she is uneducated and a minor, but they have no papers. She is being medically examined to ascertain her exact age.” The girl’s family claimed that her mother, a cancer patient, died of shock within a week.
