Man arrested after reports of stabbing with multiple victims in northwest England

LONDON (AP) — Police say a man has been arrested following a stabbing in northwest England that left several people injured. Merseyside Police say officers were called to an address in Southport around midday Monday. Police say there were “a number of casualties” and are calling it a “serious incident.” They say officers arrested a man and seized a knife. Police say there is no major threat to the public.
