Two dead in car crash in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Two people are dead and another injured after a car crash in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, troopers say. They say it happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning on Spring Street near Lee Court. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Jeep Wrangler was traveling north on Spring Street when it left the right side of the road, lost control, went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and then rolled over. The coroner says 19-year-old Jesus Guadalupe Gaspar Sandoval and 18-year-old Emory Desiree Gaspar died at the scene of the crash and are siblings. Another passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The coroner also says neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
