Classes for primary school students in Kashmir are interrupted due to heatwave

Srinagar, July 28 (KNS): The District Commissioner of Kashmir has ordered suspension of classes for students up to primary level in both government and recognized private schools due to the ongoing heatwave in the valley. This suspension will be in force from July 29 and 30, 2024.

Despite the suspension for students, all teaching and non-teaching staff are required to carry out their duties as usual. Click here to follow our WhatsApp channel

The aim of this measure is to protect young students from the extreme heat currently prevailing in the region.

The Director of Education Kashmir and other officials were also informed to ensure widespread awareness. (KNS)
