Police: Two dead in shooting and stabbing in NYC

One man was stabbed to death in Brooklyn and another was shot in the Bronx overnight, police said.

In the latest fatal incident, 47-year-old Noel Williams was stabbed in the left cheek, left arm and left thigh shortly after 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Hegeman Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville, police said.

The victim, a Sutter Avenue resident, was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

No arrests were made.

Late Friday, Buriama Silla, 23, was shot once in the torso by an unknown assailant in a black SUV in the rear of the building in Concourse, 1100 Teller Ave., around 11:30 p.m., police said.

The victim was privately transported to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

No arrests were made.
