New video shows Doral police officer arrested for drunk driving in the Florida Keys – NBC 6 South Florida

A new video shows the arrest of a Doral police officer for drunk driving in the Florida Keys in May.

Officer Johann Karim Delgado was arrested on May 20 for drunk driving.

According to records, Delgado was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol on northbound U.S. 1 near mile marker 105.

In footage obtained by NBC6, a police officer can be seen stopping Delgado as he drives a vehicle towing a personal watercraft.

A second police officer arrives at the scene and Delgado is given a breathalyzer test, which he obviously failed, and he is seen being handcuffed.

“Give me another chance,” the voice of a man, presumably Delgado, can be heard in the footage. “If you could do me a favor and give me another chance.”

“You had so many options,” one of the officers replies before Delgado is placed in the back seat of an FHP car.

Delgado was relieved of his duties following his arrest and was ordered to appear in court in September.
