Sam’s Club customer attacks employee over pizza order – WSB-TV Channel 2

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — An employee at a Sam’s Club in Georgia said she was attacked by a customer who came into the store minutes before closing time and wanted to order a pizza.

The incident was caught on video and led to Sam’s Club employees demanding that security personnel be present in the store at all times.

Cierra Monroe spoke to WSB and said that a mother and her two daughters came into the Henry County, Georgia, location two minutes before closing time on July 10 and wanted to order two whole pizzas.

But employees said it was too late to order whole pizzas, WSB reported.

Monroe said the woman then came into the kitchen and punched her in the face. The woman’s daughters followed their mother into the kitchen. Other workers eventually broke up the fight.

“The mother gets angry and walks away from the register, comes back into the kitchen and when she comes into the kitchen she starts punching me,” Monroe told WSB. “After she punches me, she punches me in the face and then her two daughters come from the front. I wasn’t expecting that at all.”

The woman has been identified as Andreana McKnight. An arrest warrant has also been issued for McKnight’s daughter, Victoria Wilson. She is pregnant and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Monroe said there had been another altercation before and she did not understand why her employer did not have security on site.

“I just believe we need security from opening to closing, every day, seven days a week,” she said.

When asked by WSB about the full-time security staff that employees would like to see in their stores, Sam’s Club’s corporate headquarters simply said that employee safety is their top priority and that they are working with Henry County police on the investigation.
