Huntsville teenager killed in car crash in Jackson County | News

A Huntsville teenager was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Jackson County on Sunday morning, according to state police.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. on US 72 near mile marker 119, three miles west of Woodville.

According to authorities, the 17-year-old driver was killed when the 2015 Nissan Altima they were traveling in collided first with a 1988 Chevrolet C2500 and then with a trailer.

According to police, the teenager was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
