Traffic accident with injuries causes traffic jams on Interstate 49 northbound

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) – A crash with injuries has brought northbound Interstate 49 to a complete standstill, according to IDriveArkansas.

The accident occurred near mile marker 37 and involved both lanes, the report said.

An evacuation helicopter and several emergency vehicles are on site.

Traffic is backed up to exit 34.
