In “The Other Side” he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol – without alcohol in his blood

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Over the past two years, dozens of drivers on Oahu have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and received a breathalyzer test result of 0.00 – meaning no alcohol was detected in their system, HNN Investigates recently reported.

In 2022 and 2023, nearly 300 arrested drivers had breath or blood test results below the legal limit of 0.08, according to HPD data on arrests that did not result in charges.

Even more worrying is that 69 people scored 0.00.
