Coty Schock breaks his wrist in training accident

Coty Schock broke his left wrist in a training accident at ClubMX on Monday and underwent surgery to repair the damage.

“That’s crap, of course,” Coty Schock said in an Instagram post that he pointed to his left wrist, which was in a sling. “I broke my wrist at the club and we had surgery this week. We will be back. I’d like to say soon, but I don’t know when I’ll be back, but it sucks. Not what anyone wants, but we’re in good spirits. We’ll keep going.”

Coty Schock returns to the 250cc class five days after collarbone surgery, the Cinderella season continues

On Race Day Live, Coty Schock said he feels like it was only three weeks ago that he had surgery. He is currently tied for fourth in the 250 East standings with Haiden Deegan.

Schock was one of the Cinderella stories of 2024. He finished third in the 250 Supercross East championship, his best finish of his career, despite having to undergo surgery for a broken collarbone in March after he was destroyed in the last round of the Main in Birmingham, Alabama, by Haiden DeeganIncredible, He didn’t miss a single lap and was back on his bike after five days.

He was less productive in the Pro Motocross Championship, his best finish being 12th in Moto 2 at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, but Schock scored points in all but one moto.

Schock is 11th in the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), 82 points ahead of 21st in the overall standings, with 14 rounds remaining. The 20 riders with the highest points will automatically receive an invitation to the SMX playoffs in September.
