Person dies after collision between car and train in Clark County

According to Clark County police, one person was killed in a collision between a train and a car in southern Indiana on Monday. Tri-Township Fire and EMS were called to the area of ​​Village Lane and North US Route 31 at around 3:04 p.m. for a collision between a car and a train. Police said fire and EMS responded to the scene within five minutes of the 911 call and found an unconscious and unresponsive person on the ground. She was taken to UofL Hospital, where she later died. No other injuries were reported, according to police. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
