Teenager dead, man seriously injured in car crash Friday night in Osceola County – Orlando Sentinel

A 19-year-old Kenansville boy is dead and a 20-year-old Saint Cloud man was injured after a car crash in Osceola County Friday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

A 2005 Ford F-250 was traveling south on U.S. Highway 441 north of Williams Road, FHP said. For unknown reasons, the 19-year-old boy lost control of the pickup truck and left the road. The boy oversteered and began spinning counterclockwise. The pickup truck left the road, causing the right side of the vehicle to strike a tree.

According to FHP, the 19-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The 20-year-old man was flown by helicopter to Holmes Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.
