Rail services across London have been significantly disrupted this evening, with several lines partially closed or experiencing significant delays.

A track fault at Paddington has caused significant delays on a large section of the Elizabeth Line, while the Bakerloo Line and London Overground have been partially suspended.

The disruption at Paddington is expected to last until 9pm, National Rail said, as a safety inspection of the tracks is currently underway.

There was a signal failure at Queen’s Park and a fire alarm at Morden, all adding to travel chaos as the evening rush hour draws to a close.

There are also minor delays on the Piccadilly line.

Detailed information on the suspensions and delays can be found below:

The Bakerloo Line Due to a signal failure at Queen’s Park, no service is available between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. There are minor delays on the rest of the route.

The London Underground For the same reason, train services between Queen’s Park and Watford Junction are partially suspended, but there are good connections on all other routes.
