WNY could see record daily temperatures next week

BUFFALO, N.Y. — It will be warm on Father’s Day Sunday, with a high of 83 degrees. Then it warms up with a good chance of breaking daily record temperatures for several days next week.

Monday, expect very warm temperatures in the upper 80s with partly sunny skies, and a low of 72.

Then the hot conditions persist. It will be mostly sunny, in the early to mid 90s, Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat index values ​​(what it feels like outside with humidity) perhaps approaching 100. Nighttime lows between the mid to 1970s.
