Reward offered for investigation into Kee Street shooting

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — The family of a man killed in a shooting on Kee Street in Princeton on Saturday, June 8, 2024, is offering a $10,000 reward.

According to Princeton police, the family of Shaileshbhai “Sam” Patel is offering a $10,000 reward for any information about the incident that could lead to an arrest.


Princeton Police Department members responded to a shooting on Kee Street in the Princeton neighborhood of Mercer County around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024. When officers arrived on the scene, they found that 52-year-old Shaileshbhai Patel had been shot in the chest. Patel died of his injuries at the scene.
