Police investigate incidents of gun violence in Muskegon Heights

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Michigan – Police released information on two firearms incidents in Muskegon Heights on Wednesday.

A 23-year-old man was shot on Howell Avenue near Jarman Street, according to the Muskegon Heights Police Department (MHPD). He is expected to be OK.

We’re told shots were fired near Hoyt and Hume earlier this afternoon. Police say although the incident occurred near the above, they don’t believe the two are related.

Anyone with information about any of the incidents is asked to call MHPD.
