Border between Israel and Syria: Several attacks reported, Hezbollah in the crosshairs

According to Lebanese reports, seven different targets on the Israeli-Syrian border were attacked on Monday night.

According to reports, anti-aircraft missiles were fired at fighter jets over southern Lebanon in response to attacks on seven different targets on the border with Syria.

One of the attacks reportedly took place in the Bekaa Valley and targeted a Hezbollah strategic asset linked to the organization’s spiritual sphere of influence.

Hezbollah concentrates all its strategic forces in the Bekaa Valley, far from Israel’s border.

The attack was carried out in several waves and was intended to send a clear message to Nasrallah regarding freedom of airspace over Lebanon. According to Lebanese reports, Israeli fighter jets flew above the speed of sound in various Lebanese areas to relay Israel’s message to Hezbollah.

The intensity of the attacks is reportedly deviating from the norm. An attack on Al-Harmel, about 130 km from the Israeli border, was reportedly one of the most distant Israeli attacks in Lebanon since the conflict began. Earlier today, Lebanon claimed that Hezbollah had shot down an Israeli drone.
