John Fetterman involved in car accident

(WHTM) – Pennsylvania State Senator John Fetterman and his wife Gisele were involved in a two-vehicle accident in Maryland, according to a statement from his office.

According to the Maryland State Police, Hagerstown police officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-70 westbound at Interstate 68 on Sunday.

According to state police, a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Senator Fetterman collided with the rear of an Impala.

The Fettermans and the driver of the Impala were taken by ambulance to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia for treatment of their injuries.

According to Fetterman’s office, the senator was treated for a shoulder contusion and released from the hospital.

No citations have been issued and the accident investigation is currently active.

Fetterman’s office says both the senator and his wife are “doing well and happy to be back in Braddock.”
