50 people arrested for vandalism in Bijnor after rape accused arrested | Lucknow News

BIJNOR: A day after a 55-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping an 8-year-old girl, 50 people were booked for vandalism of his property in Bijnor on Saturday.

The accused’s wife approached the police and filed a complaint, stating that a group of 50 people entered her house, broke a wall and damaged her property while she was alone at home. She said the attackers attacked her, but she managed to escape and hide in a sugarcane field.

Based on their complaint, the police have booked the persons under various sections of the IPC. A police force and the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been deployed to the village.
