KSP arrests Taylor County man in criminal child abuse investigation

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Kentucky. (June 4, 2024) – On May 31, 2024, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 15 received a call about a possible case of child abuse that had occurred earlier in the week in Taylor County.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Christopher Robb dropped his two-year-old daughter off at her daycare on May 30, 2024. Upon arrival, daycare staff noticed an injury to the left cheek area of ​​the child’s face. The child was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital and later to the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. On June 4, 2024, police officers from Post 15 arrived at a residence on Ridgecrest Drive in Campbellsville to speak with Mr. Robb about the incident.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher Robb, 40 years old of Campbellsville, was arrested and charged with criminal abuse.and Grade – Child 12 or younger on June 4, 2024. Mr. Robb was housed in the Taylor County Detention Center.

Detective Dexter Colvin was assisted by other officers from Station 15 and his investigation into the incident is ongoing.
