Missing person investigation in East Cleveland on Strathmore Ave.

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation Crime Scene Unit confirmed to 3News Monday morning that it was asked to assist the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department in investigating a crime scene on Strathmore Avenue in East Cleveland.

Although few details are known at this time, Cuyahoga County Public Information Officer Jennifer Ciaccia told 3News that the situation is a missing person investigation, but did not elaborate.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office also confirmed they were called.
