Forest accident: 1 dead after car rolls over

YOLO COUNTY, Calif. – One person is dead after a car left Interstate 5 and rolled over in Woodland.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported along Interstate 5 north of County Road 103 around 6:30 p.m.

According to police, the car left the road and landed in a field before overturning.

Despite first responders’ efforts to save the driver, they died at the scene.

It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
