Police on Grand Isle search for drowned teenager

JEFFERSON PARISH, Louisiana (WGNO) – Grand Isle police are searching for the body of a 13-year-old boy who is believed to have drowned on a beach on Saturday, May 25.

Investigators say the incident occurred around 3 p.m. behind the marina on the bridge side.

Officials initially reported that the victims were a father and son. However, they now report that the victim is only the 13-year-old boy.

The police are still searching for the body.
